Research on Fault Activation and Its Influencing Factors on the Barrier Effect of Rock Mass Movement Induced by Mining

For the study of driving forces behind fault activation and its influencing factors on barrier effect rock mass movement under influence mining, discrete element numerical simulation software 3DEC was used for analysis impact distance to mining area from fault, buried depth upper boundary dip angle size thickness zone respectively. The results show that areas are closer as distances decrease, burial increases, is easier activate, has a stronger displacement field stress propagation. When cut into goaf, difference in both directions increases when more susceptible instability activation. strength grows with increase fracture zone. this have important implications guard against control deep mining-related disasters.
